Community support specialists provide support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their home or in their primary community to help them achieve greater independence, productivity and inclusion in the community. Community support specialists train and supervise individuals in basic self-care, social skills and activities of daily living and assist in community-based activities.
Prasada In Home’s community support specialists are certified through the College of Direct Support. They work off a individual service plan developed by the individual, caregivers and their care managers which is tailored to the individuals needs.
